Polish Roots in Mexico, Canada and USA
You are receiving this email because you are a descendant of the Szurek family. (—pronounced shu-rik: spellings may differ as it is transliterated from the original).
Did you know that the Szurek ancestral hometown in north-central Poland is called Golub-Dobrzyn? (*English spelling transliterations may differ).
Golub-Dobrzyn originally consisted of two different towns straddling the Drweca River— united only in 1951. Today the population is about 13,000 people.

Rypin, Poland was another, slightly larger town (the population today is about 17,000 people) —and several of our ancestors resided here as well.
